Confucius Institute U.S. Center, People to People National Honors Award (2017). This award is given to ten winners of the Confucius Institute Story Telling essay writing contest, for an essay relating their personal story of learning Chinese, cross-cultural experience and insights gained from that experience, and why it matters to their personal development.
Helen Tobin Writers’ Award (2012) for the Einspruch et al. (2011) article published in Journal for Nurses in Staff Development. This award is given annually to the authors of the article that is selected from those published in a volume year based on criteria regarding contribution to the specialty, quality of the writing, and relevance of the topic.
